The
purpose of this tutorial is to demonstrate how
a multi-colored gradient is made.
1. Click
on the fore- or background color in the Color Palette.
A window will open with the options
"Color", "Gradient" and "Pattern".
Click on the 'Gradient' option.
Click on 'Edit'.

A New window will open.
Don't worry if it looks intimidating.
I will explain step-by-step what you need to know. :)
2. Now
click on the 'New' - button.
Give your gradient your own unique name.
Click on 'OK'

Now for
the fun part! :)
3. Click 3x on the area indicated with the red line below
New little weight icons will appear where you click.

There
should be 5 weight-icons now.
Each one of them will be assigned a position and color.
Each weight can be assigned a different color,
by first clicking on the weight-icon (to activate it) and then
on the color field below
the location field.

If you
right-click on the color field,
all you previously used colors will open in a pop-up field.
NOTE!!
In the fore- and background fields the right-clicking
option will not work.
You will also notice that these two colors won't be the same as the ones
you are assigning to each gradient icon-weight.
However, if you click on the fore- or background field
the color for the active weight-icon will change to that color.
So don't click on one of these fields if you don't want those colors
in your gradient!
4. Click on the
first weight-icon.
The position is 0%. Now click on the color field
indicate above with the number '2'.
In the new color palette window opening,
change the color to #c19253.

In the
next screen, you will see the colors and positions assigned to each
weight-icon.
Note: the active weight-icon has a black tip in each instance below.
The screenshot below is a compilation !!
You won't see the same
Only one color bar with all the weights will be visible to you on your
screen,ok? :)
Now change all the colors and positions as indicated below.

After
you have changed all the colors, click on 'Close'.
You will be asked to save the changes.
Say 'Yes'.
And
that's it.
It wasn't that difficult at all, right?? :)
This is how it can look like when you're done.
