This tutorial is based on an idea of Angela's internet friend Melanie.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Paint Shop Pro

FILTERS:

Filters Unlimited

Filter Factory Gallery F

Filter  &NEU

VM Natural

Material:

Let's begin ! :)

1. Open your image.
Duplicate with Shift+D and
close the original.
Resize image: the longest side should be 400 pixels.
Duplicate this image and minimize for now.

2. Choose two color with the Color picker:
Foreground color - #8fb0c8
Background - #547b9a

Change the foreground color to gradient
with these settings:
Angle - 180 / Repeats - 0 / Invert = unchecked / Style - Linear:

Change the background color to gold pattern (included in the zip)

3. Image - Add Borders:
1 pixel / Symmetric / black.
5 pixels / Symmetric / your light color
1 pixel / Symmetric / black.
 

Effects -  Plugins - I.C.NET Software -  Filters Unlimited

Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel:

5. Image - Add Border: 3 pixels / Symmetric / color not in the image.
Select the border with the Magic wand
and fill with a gold or silver pattern.

6. Image - Add Borders: 15 pixels / Symmetric / white.
Select with the Magic Wand.
Activate the minimized copy of the image that you
have duplicated in the beginning.
Back to the frame canvas.
Edit - Paste - Paste into the selection.
Keep selected.

7. Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited: Distortion Filters - Explosion:

Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel:

Selections - Select None

8. Image - Add Borders:
1 pixel / Symmetric / black.
5 pixels / Symmetric / white
Select the white border with the Magic Wand
and fill with a gold or silver pattern.
1 pixel / Symmetric / black.
Selections - Select All.
Selectoins - Modify - Contract by 7 pixels.
Selections - Invert.
Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel - same as in step 4.

Keep selected.
Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:
2 / 2/ 80 / 6.20 / color black.

Effects - Plugins - Filter Factory Gallery F - Mapped Checkers:

Selections - Select None.

11. Select the white areas with the Magic wand.
The duplicated image should still be in the memory.
Image - Paste - Paste Into Selection.
Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel:

Buttons & Frames - Glass Frame 2:

15. Image - Add Borders:
5 pixels / Symmetric / white.
Select and fill with the gold or silver pattern.
Effects / 3D Effects - Inner Bevel:

Selections - Select None.
You can resize the image to 550 pixels in height now.
Decorate it with corner

Add the copymark from the artist and your watermark

save as .jpg
