Backgroundimage from MDS

The tutorial was written for PSP 9 but
can be done with other versions as well.
The tutorial is Angela's own work.

Let's begin!
You need a Facetube and Deco Tubes

1. Open a new transparent canvas, size 550 x 450 pixels.

Use the color picker in the Color palette to choose a light and dark color from the images
as fore- and background colors.

2. Fill the canvas with the dark color.
 

3. Paste the Backgroundimage and the Posertube as new layers onto the canvas.
The Background from MDS i have only Flip and move, not resized

the Blend Mode to Soft Light and the Opacity to 60%

The Posertube from Laguna Azul i have also Flip,

resized to 45%, Drop Shadow

 and moved to the right Bottom in the Image
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.
 

4. Effects - Plugins - I.C.NET Software's Filters Unlimited -
Lens Flares - Flare 09.
Change the intensity setting to 70.

(Play with this setting, likes your colors)
You can also check 'Flip horizontal' if you like.

5.Effects - Plugins - I.C.NET Software's Filters Unlimited -
Edges Square > Square Edge 12.
 

6. Image - Resize - 90% ('Resize all layers' = unchecked)
Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:
use a darker color as the background color for the shadow color.

Repeat the drop shadow with V& H -3.

7. Layers - New Raster Layer.
Fill this layer with the dark color.
Effects - Plugins - I.C.NET Software's Filters Unlimited -

Lens Flares - Flare 09 - the intensity should be 90 / 'Flip Horizontal'= unchecked this time
so that the other layer should look like a reduced image of this one.
Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

8. Copy the "ruffleribbon2" from Scrapkit "Winter Magic"

from Monica.
Paste it as a new layer onto the canvas
Move it to the top as seen in the example tag above.

9. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:
 

 Layers - Duplicate
Image - Mirror
Image - Flip
Layers - Duplicate
Image - Rotate - Free Rotate:
 

Move it the left edge as seen in the example tag.
Layers - Duplicate
Image - Mirror
Image - Flip.

10. Open the "roses1" from Monica's Scrapkit
Copy and paste it as a new layer.

Resize to 85% and Free Rotate > 50° to the right Side

Drop Shadow: -5 / 5 / 100 / Color same as before

Place it in your Layer Palette on the second place from bottom

Layers - Duplicate
Image - Flip.

11. Layers - New Raster layer.
Selections - Select All.
Fill this layer with the dark color.
Selections - Modify - Contract by 2 pixel.
Fill with the light color.
Selections - Modify - Contract by 1 pixels.

Fill with the dark color.
Selections - Modify - Contract by 2 pixels.
Press the delete key on your keyboard.

12. Selections - Modify - Expand by 1 pixel.
Layers - new Raster layer.
Layers - Arrange - Move Down.
Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout:

Selections - Select None.
If you are happy with your results
you can add your watermark and save it as a jpg.
And you'r done! :)
