Border Mania

1. Open a new Image 550 x 400 Pixel

Copy from the Paper Folder "5"

Paste as new Layer

Rename to "Paper1"

2. Layer > New Rasterlayer

Selections > Select All

Copy "3" from the Paper Folder

Back to your Image

Edit > Paste Into Selection

Rename to "Paper2"

Hold the Selection

3. Copy "1" from the Paper Folder

Paste as new Layer in your Image

Rename to "Paper3"

4. Copy "2" from the Paper Folder

Layer > New Layer

Edit  > Paste Into Selection

Deselect

5. Layers > New Rasterlayer

Fill this Layer with #ffffff

Effects > Plugins > Filters Unlimited 2.0 > Photo Aging Kit > Photo Frame 05

6. Image > Resize > 95% > All Layers NOT checked

Activate the Magic Wand > RGB Value, Tolerance 5, Feather 0

Click in the white Area from the Layer

Selections > Modify > Contract > 1 Pixel

Selections > Inverse

Layers > Delete

7. In the Layers Palette is now "Paper 4" activ

Hit Delete

Activate the Layer "Paper 3"

Hit Delete

Activate the Layer "Paper 2"

Again > Hit Delete

Selections > Select All

Image > Crop to Selection

8. The Layer "Paper2" is activ

Image > Free Rotate > 20 ° to the left side

Adjust > Sharpen

9. Effects > 3D-Effects > Drop Shadow

1 - 1 - 70 - 15,92 - Black

or whatever you like

10. Activate in the Layers Palette "Paper3"

11. Activate in the Layers Palette the Top Layer (Paper4)

Drop Shadow same as Step 9

12. Copy from the Elements Folder "ribbon LR 01"

Paste as new Layer

Resize to 60%

Sharpen

13. Activate the Magic Wand > Tolerance 0, Feather 0

Click beside the ribbon in the Image

Selections > Inverse

Selections > Modify > Contract > 1 Pixel

Layers > New Rasterlayer

Layers > Arrange > Move down

14. Effects > 3D-Effects > Drop Shadow

settings whatever you like

Activate the ribbon Layer in the Layers Palette

Layers > Merge > Merge down

Adjust > Brightness and Contrast > Brightness/Contrast

Set the Brightness > -30 and the Contrast to 20

Move the ribbon to the Top in the Image

15. Layers > Duplicate

Image > Mirror

Layers > Duplicate

Image > Free Rotate

Move the ribbon to the left Side

16. Activate the Selection Tool > Rectangle > Modus "Add"

Make a selection likes my Screen

Make sure, that the Top Layer is activ

Hit Delete

Deselect

Layers > Duplicate

Image > Flip

Now the Frame is ready :)

17. Copy "corner" from the Elements Folder

Paste as new Layer

Dropshadow

Move the Corner to the left Top from the Frame

Layers > Duplicate

Image > Flip

Layers > Merge down

Layers > Duplicate

Image > Mirror

18. Copy "rope LR 01"

Paste as new Layer

Resize to 60% and Sharpen and Dropshadow

Move it to the left side in the Image

Activate the Selection Tool > Rectangle

Make a Selection likes my Screen

Hit Delete and Deselect

19. Activate the Selection Tool > Circle

Make little Circles likes my Screen

(i have fill the Selection with Red for better view)

start always in the Middle

20. Activate in the Layers Palette the Layer "Paper2"

Hit Delete

Activate "Paper3"

Hit Delete

Activate "Paper4"

Hit Delete

Deselect

21. Copy "ribbon LR 02"

Paste as new Layer and resize to 55%

Image > Mirror

Sharpen and Dropshadow

Move this ribbon to the Bottom from the Frame

between the Corners

22. Copy "button LR 01"

Paste as new Layer and resize to 40%

Sharpen and Dropshadow

Move it in the Middle from the ribbon

23. Copy now your Flowertube

i use

"V~FriendshipSpray" from Rainbow Coffi

Paste as new Layer and resize fit to your Image

if you use the same Flower, resize to 50%

Sharpen and Dropshadow

24. Copy "bow LR 01"

Paste as new Layer

Resize to 50%

Image > Free Rotate > 20° to the right Side

Sharpen and Drop Shadow

Move the bow to the right Top from the Frame

25. Layers > New Rasterlayer

Selections > Select All

Fill with a Goldpattern

Selections > Modify > Contract > 5 Pixel

Hit Delete > Deselect

26. Effects > Plugins > Border Mania > Frame #2
